Capital / Infrastructural Projects Manager

We are looking for a Capital / Infrastructural Projects Manager and your main responsibilities will be Program Management, Governance, stakeholder management and quality outcomes for capital (infrastructure) / construction  projects. You will be travelling 40-50% of your time to our sites

The successful candidate can be based in home country within South East Asia

What you will do

As a Capital / Infrastructural Projects Manager you will: 

  • Responsible for successful delivery of all capital/infrastructural projects globally in time, budget and quality.
  • Liaison with project stakeholders to ensure that requirements and deliverables are scoped and understood, estimated accurately, resources secured with delivery plans aligned, resulting in an efficient and timely delivery. All projects aligned with Business requirements.
  • Develop business cases (end to end) to outline scenario options and support executive-level decision making using financial and non-financial information and performance metrics. Assure financial controls and reporting.
  • Lead and drive external project managers to execute technical and logistical management of the project from the beginning till the end.
  • Recognise value engineering opportunities and coordinate without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules, budgets, quality of the solutions and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strengthen cross functional collaboration and communication in each project, follow the BT process, ensure R&R are carefully managed. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, internal FREM, collaborators and other parts of the business.
  • Co-ordinating and contributing to the production of assessments, designs and supporting documentation. Production of high quality project documentation, including management and delivery plans, reports, logs and allied material.
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues that could threaten a project’s delivery. Recommending and/or taking appropriate action to overcome delays, challenges or cost over-runs. Adherence to all Regulatory, Security and Compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring all safety protocols are carried out, reported and logged in order to cultivate a safety mindset in all project execution.
  • Ability to travel

We believe you have

  • Dynamic, passionate and self-driven who will hit the road running
  • A master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of work experience in a similar role, i.e. Engineering or Project Management of large scale infrastructural projects, Preferably with in-house experience. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Other language speaking will be an added advantage
  • International work experience
  • Strong communication skills, able to solve problems and provide oversight as well as execution of projects
  • Ability to dealing with different levels of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, cultural and geographical differences, equally inclusive and successful in working remotely with cross-functional teams and managers – direct and dotted
  • The ability being able to simplify, prioritize and innovate to eliminate waste and reach productivity gains
  • Effective and fast in managing different requests, advanced in prioritization
  • Very structured and organized, financial result-oriented, good presentation skills and always have an eye for continuous improvement
  • Happy to work out of comfort zone and ready to take challenges & responsibility
  •  Good self-knowledge. Understanding personal strength and weaknesses and permanently developing towards the better self
  • Positive Can-do-attitude,  Business engagement, Stakeholder Management, Project delivery, Risk management, Governance & Process, and Safety LTAR.
