Full Job Description

• Developing and implementing the company's strategic plans, setting goals, and defining objectives to ensure long-term growth and profitability.
  
• Overseeing all aspects of the company's mining operations, including exploration, extraction, processing, and transportation of minerals. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational efficiency.
  
• Monitoring financial performance, analyzing financial data, and making informed decisions to optimize profitability. Managing budgets, financial forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as investors, government authorities, community leaders, and industry associations. Representing the company's interests in negotiations, partnerships, and collaborations.
  
• Providing strong leadership to the management team and employees, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  
• Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Implementing effective health and safety practices to minimize accidents and environmental impact. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitoring market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and expanding the company's market share. Developing and implementing business development strategies, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and market diversification.
  

• A bachelor's degree in business administration/mining engineering/geology, or a related field is typically required. 
  
• Extensive experience in the mining industry, including significant managerial or executive roles, is essential. Experience in various aspects of mineral mining operations, such as exploration, extraction, processing, and logistics, is highly desirable.
  
• In-depth knowledge of the mineral mining industry, including current trends, technologies, regulations, and best practices. Understanding of global market dynamics, supply chain management, and commodity pricing is crucial.
  
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving organizational success. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  
• Sound understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in evaluating market opportunities, developing business strategies, and driving growth.
  
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and represent the company professionally.
  
• Familiarity with relevant mining regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety practices. Ability to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote sustainable mining practices.
