Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in
chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
•
Minimum 3 years working experience manufacturing environment.
• Must communicate in local and English
language.
• Good statistical and
analytical skills.
• Lean Six
Sigma qualifications will be an advantage.

Manage daily activities of production area to ensure
that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. Coordinate work
schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize
productivity.
Candidate will report directly into
the Operations Leader of the Vietnam facility.

Key Responsibilities
•
Guide safety improvements and risk reduction in all paint processing
area following life important rules.
•
Guide AMU (Absolute Material Use) performance achieving best
performance in class.
• Develop
and implement processes to improve paint processing, including
quality, setup time and cost.
•
Develop, design and recommend manufacturing process for new product
and intermediate and manage the manufacturing process (Review,
implement and recommend manufacturing process for scale up)
• Review the current manufacturing
process and recommend and implement revision of the process.
• Continuous improvement in
manufacturing process for a process with 1st time right outcome
• Develop and recommend manufacturing
process for improvement of productivity (KG per man hour)
• Considerable creativity and initiative are
required providing process troubleshooting support to coating
processes and implement countermeasures.
•
To manage color data – monitor and capture color data and analyze the
color trend for batch card optimization to reduce the color adjustment
%.
• Participate in CAIR / Quality
Failure corrective actions driving year over year continuous
improvements.
• Review and
manage the production equipment to improve operating performance.
• Preserve the ISO 9001 standards and
contribute to Internal Audits.
•
Analyze the measurement data and provide improvements with use of
statistical analysis.
•
Collaborate with different divisions (QC, Technical & Supply
Chain).
• Guide process
simplifications / equipment improvements to improve overall paint
manufacturing process.
