Job Description
Support the Global Product Costing in executing the Manufacturing Excellence strategy. This position is responsible for developing, coaching, and implementing M.E. operational strategies within VF organization, direct team and vendor teams with specific focus to Equipment & Accessories manufacturing to reduce lead times, actualize manufacturing improvements and maximizing productivity within agreed timelines to target. Visualize metrics data into a simple and comprehensive reporting structure.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
1. Organize, plan, and deliver "Coaching for Results" based on the lean principles throughout the supply chain, including sourcing and vendor factories.
2. Review and develop best practice and continuous improvement to the creation, adoption, and benefits of fact based SMV's through the RSC & GSD tool and VF applications
3. Identify improvement opportunities with quantifiable business benefits. Recommend the best methods of space, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization in production facilities
4. Develop Business Case Metrics, Scorecards, Methodologies and Tools to build and track Manufacturing Excellence progress.
5. Lead the analysis of re-engineering at vendor's manufacturing processes, defined by the Costing Manager
6. Collect and maintain relevant data, reports, and process to improve the productivity and profitability to the Brand for the initiation and implementation of projects that optimize costs, efficiency and quality
7. Ensure successful rollout of the automation solutions upon the monitoring period.
8. Connect with Commercialization and Production Ops. Team, factory and supplier of the machine to ensure initial logistic, installation and training. Analyzes processes to improve the productivity and profitability of manufacturing through initiation and implementation of projects that optimize costs, reduce waste, and improve productivity/quality.
9. Bridge/facilitate the partnership between Automation Team and factories when factories are developing their own automation idea
10. Join final trial of the automation machinery to ensure new machinery is up to before it is confirmed to be introduce
to the factories
11. Follow up with factories and machinery suppliers whenever there is serious or abnormal operation issues happened
12. Continually study and keep updated Industry best practices on automation solutions, production and process work flow.
**QUALIFICIATIONS** _education/experience, years of related professional experience:_

+ Engineering Degree required
+ Experience in Automation, Industrial engineering, Project Management and/or Operations
+ Knowledge and experience working in equipment/accessories industry is a definite advantage

1.Ability to analyze work-flow and provide automation solutions.
2.Ability to influence work with and develop personnel resources.
3.Understanding of production process, machinery, product construction, specifications, and quality requirements.
4.Must be innovative, detailed oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

6.Expert PC skills using spreadsheets, programming techniques.
7.Be open minded and continual learning capability.
8.Mechanical and footwear knowledge is a definite advantage.

**Core Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct periodic risk assessments of operating machinery in accordance with the annual plan
+ Perform risk assessments on new machines (new or existing technologies)
+ Validate acceptable risk level at machine release or during normal operation
+ Continuous improvement in Machine Safety related education
+ Support Go-look-see (GLS) for local or other plant machinery incidents
+ Support Practical Problem Solving (PPS) or improvement tools related to machinery Deliver machinery safety related training
+ Update KPI's
+ Create and follow up observations in SAP
+ Active participation in Machinery Safety meetings and trainings assigned

+ Support LOTO implementation and management in LMV
+ Regular process confirmation and follow up with Local MSG network
+ Involve to onsite EHS problem solving related to machine safety and maintain/ update machine safety assessment database
+ Support follow up machine safety related accidents, make in-depth assessment and develop solutions (if needed), then establish report to stakeholders
+ Support global machine safety in updating MSG tools to secure usability
+ Best Practice sharing and adaptation through our local MSG networks

+ 2+ years experience in machine safety from MNC (machine inspections, machine development, equipment technical specification creation, solid understanding and knowledges of legislation and harmonized standards knowledges, risk analysis).
+ Basic knowledge of machine directive 2006/42/EC, users directive 2009/104/EC, Government decree No. 378/2001, Basic harmonized standards EN ISO 12100, IEC 60204-1
+ Bachelor degree with major in Electrical/ Mechanical/ EHS is preferred
+ Certification in H&S system (Identification of hazards/risks certification) is preferred

Sr. Device Quality Manager (Sr. DQM)
The Sr. Device Quality Manager (Sr. DQM) is responsible for ensuring that our products are manufactured for quality. During the new product development (NPI), the Sr. DQM will develop an out of box audit (OBA) process for factory production based on critical to customer use cases of the product. With guidance from Quality Engineering Manager (QEM) and product SW QA team, Sr. DQM will work with the contract manufacturer in delivering a robust OBA process that validates product HW/SW functionality and product cosmetics characteristics to ensure that Lab126 delivers high quality products to customers.
The Sr. DQM will also own factory quality in the sustaining phase of the product. The successful candidate will monitor production performance against established quality goals by conducting regular factory audits, partnering with Site Technical Manager (STM) to lead full investigation and failure analysis leading to root cause determination and subsequent closed loop corrective action. Sr. DQM must possess a high sense of urgency when managing critical issues. DQM will lead factory quality lessons learned and institutes remedies to prevent reoccurrence of such issues.
In addition, the Sr. DQM will provide production quality health report to management in sustaining phase and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the job. Sr. DQM will also initiate quality pre-alert for any quality escapes from the factory impacting customers and lead cross-functional teams in problem solving activities to provide effective issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications
o Minimum of a BSME/BSIE/BSEE or equivalent training experience
o Preferred 7+ years of working experience in engineering and/or quality
o Good understanding of assembly, manufacturing and testing processes in high volume electronic consumer devices manufacturing environment
o Problem Solver - Deliver solutions to complex problems through in-depth data analysis and forensics, using methodical approach such as DMAIC along with experience, innovation and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information
o Solid understanding and demonstrated success with practical applications of Lean / Six Sigma tools such as Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis, Analysis of Variance, Hypothesis Testing, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Charts, Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility, Cpk.
o Technical knowledge of conducting process audits and formulating plans to drive continual quality improvements within the factory operations
o Must be self-motivated/self-directed, is able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and flawlessly.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
o MSME/MSIE/MSEE
o Knowledge of Quality System, Device quality management experience
o ASQ certified Six Sigma Green, Black belt, CQE, CQM and CQA certifications are highly desired
o Ability to create and innovate quality deliverables/processes during new product development and sustaining program management
