ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinates with Assembly Line Supervisor and organizes line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
· Ensures work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitors the CIQ system closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems immediately.
· Minimizes changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers.
· Minimizes excess material on floor; ensure proper stockage and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
· Verifies that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available on the line.
· Informs or instructs employees of any deviations or changes.
· Notifies Manufacturing Supervisor immediately regarding all employee problems, concerns and recommendations.
· Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
· Ensures line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and are performing their assigned functions.
· Motivates and challenges all line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
· Tracks production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
· Reviews all relevant policies and procedures issued to the line and ensure that appropriate employees read, understand, and adhere to them.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Summary:
Provides technical support and leadership on production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing Injection molding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight for Injection Molding process start up, process monitoring during running and shutdown in a safe manner to achieve production targets for quality product (customer volume, yield, scrap and material cost).
- Take ownership for process escalations for injection Molding to ensure action is taken to troubleshoot & resolve issues in a timely manner using systematic approach to ‘root cause’ problem solving.
- Ensure tool set-up & changeover activities are optimized to meet production targets.
- Support process engineer in the development of new processes set up, Proof of concept & validation runs for existing and new production & prototype tools.

- Support continuous improvement projects using ‘Decoupled’ process & lean tools to optimise injection Molding performance and improve reliability.
- Ensure personnel are distributed as per planning from Team Leader / Shift Manager.
- Ownership for updating the visual area board, shift handover meeting and operational workbook- assuming responsibilities of Team Leader / Shift Manager when necessary.
- Work with quality personnel to rectify any issues promptly.
- Comply with the EHS policies and procedures, leading safety audits & 5S activities online.
- Where appropriate support the development of documentation, training and work instruction activities within injection Molding. Support cross training of personnel across Injection Molding programmes site wide. Ensure skills & knowledge gained through JABIL Process training are applied consistently.
- Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- Plastics engineering or equivalent preferable. Mechanical or other engineering with similar kind of experience can apply.
- 5 Years + experience of injection Molding, preferably home appliances/ Plastic Industry with high volume automation desirable.
- Experience of mould set up and working with a wide variety of plastics and mould types.
- Additional specialist industry standard ‘process technician training’ desirable.
- Excellent IT, Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Capable of running injection Molding equipment & completion of accurate documentation.
