Innovature is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all bookkeeping activities, and maintaining compliance with internal and client deadlines. This role requires strong organizational skills, client communication, and the ability to work across different accounting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities including journal entries, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll processing.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare, review, and deliver accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for assigned clients.
- Ensure timely handling of tax-related documentation (e.g., sales tax filings) as required by client jurisdiction.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with internal timelines and client requirements.
- Maintain strong and professional communication with clients, updating them on financial matters and deadlines regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, accounting principles, and client-specific SLAs.
- Proactively identify and flag discrepancies, risks, or potential issues in financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (preferably in outsourcing, shared services, or accounting firms).
- Intermediate proficiency in English (capable of professional communication via email)
- Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience in a BPO setup handling multi-client account is a strong advantage.
