Synopsis
To manage accounting operations, agency billing, VAT invoicing, financial reporting, compliance, and risk mitigation with a specific focus on country regulatory requirements. The role also ensures accurate record-keeping and facilitates communication with stakeholders and tax authorities.
Accountabilities
- Oversee daily accounting transactions and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and manage cargo agency agreements and bank guarantees (BGs) for non-CASS agents.
- Issue and send VAT invoices fortnightly to both CASS and non-CASS agents.
- Monitor accounts receivable and BG status of non-CASS agents, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance.
- Support administrative tasks including business license updates and statutory changes.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
- Ensure financial and tax compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors; prepare documentation and support audit procedures.
- Own and improve financial control processes to ensure integrity of financial transactions and data.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure company assets are protected.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Act as the liaison with the Department of Taxation as required by local law.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA is advantage.
- Minimum 4-5 years of airline accounting experience.
- Airline Cargo business process and accounting/proration knowledge
- Knowledge on MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)

Contract-related Legal Work
Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of contracts (service, technology, SaaS, OTA partnership, e-commerce, payment integration, purchase & sale, etc.).
- Provide official legal opinions with clear reasoning and highlight risks before documents are submitted for signature.
Monitor contract execution, approval flows, and ensure proper storage in line with internal procedures.
Internal Legal Consulting
Advise departments on laws and regulations related to technology products, digital platforms, payment solutions, and operations.

License & Legal Document Management

Legal Background
