Our tax practice revolves around helping our clients effectively manage their tax obligations proactively and responsibly. • Qualifications:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Foreign Trade, Commerce, Business, Banking with good marks for technical subjects
• Preferably 1 year of relevant experience for Staff; 3 - 5 years for Senior Consultant level. Have experience working for Big4 auditing firms or accounting firms is an advantage.
• Fluency in accounting/ auditing is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Sound computer literacy (MS Excel, Word and Power Point essential)
• Additional language (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc) is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Detail oriented and possess initiative

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with international clients and actively participate in meetings related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
• Conduct and support internal audits in accordance with SMETA standards, ensuring full compliance with audit requirements and regulations.
• Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions to enhance compliance performance and support sustainable business practices.
• Assist in optimizing the companys internal compliance system in alignment with international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in compliance and CSR initiatives

Requirements

• Age 30 or above.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate confidently in meetings with international clients. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SMETA, BSCI, RBA, and ISO standards.
• Minimum 35 years of practical experience in factory audits and compliance assessments.
• Good understanding of Occupational Safety and Environmental Laws.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience working with multinational clients or in foreign-invested enterprises is highly preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Working hours: Monday Saturday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM).

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Contract-related Legal Work

2. Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of contracts (service, technology, SaaS, OTA partnership, e-commerce, payment integration, purchase & sale, etc.).

3. Provide official legal opinions with clear reasoning and highlight risks before documents are submitted for signature.

4. Monitor contract execution, approval flows, and ensure proper storage in line with internal procedures.

5. Internal Legal Consulting

6. Advise departments on laws and regulations related to technology products, digital platforms, payment solutions, and operations.

7. Anticipate legal issues, analyze scenarios, and propose practical, business-oriented solutions.

8. Review internal policies, documents, and communications with potential legal implications to ensure compliance and minimize risks.

9. License & Legal Document Management

10. Handle applications for new/renewal/amendments of business licenses, software/IT-related licenses, and other regulatory requirements.

11. Manage corporate documents including business licenses, sub-licenses, company charters, resolutions, etc.

12. Maintain physical and digital filing systems with accuracy, security, and compliance to retention schedules.

13. Compliance & Risk Management

14. Support the Legal team in implementing compliance frameworks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and consumer protection.

15. Monitor regulatory changes affecting technology platforms and propose necessary adjustments.

16. Assist management in risk assessments and audits when required.

17. Other Duties

18. Perform other assignments as required by the Head of Legal or company leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Legal Background

2. Bachelor of Laws required. Master of Laws (LL.M.) or postgraduate degree in Law is a strong advantage.

3. Lawyer Training Certificate or having passed the Vietnamese Bar Apprentice Examination is highly preferred.
4. Solid knowledge of Civil Law, Commercial Law, Enterprise Law, Labor Law, and general corporate operations.
5. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, especially:
6. Software & Information Technology law (data protection, cybersecurity).
7. E-commerce and OTA (online travel agency).
8. Digital/online payments, e-wallets, and intermediary payment services.

9. Advertising, consumer protection, and regulations on digital platforms.

10. Professional Experience

11. 3–5 years of professional experience in legal & compliance, preferably in technology, e-commerce, OTA, or software companies.

12. Proven track record in contract negotiation and risk assessment, including SaaS agreements, OTA partnerships, and payment integration contracts.

13. Experience working with state authorities in licensing, IT-related compliance, and corporate filings.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

Legal Compliance:

• Enforce legal compliance across all departments in the business unit.

• Control trademark registration for all URC brands and ensure compliance with Intellectual Property regulations. Coordinate with IP lawyers for trademark infringement cases.
