Review and verify the payment request & claim, communicate with relevant stakeholders to obtain information and supporting document before sending to Treasury team to process the payment, ensuring:
the payment is approved by authorized person; supported by sufficient document before processing
- the payment & AP record is complied with accounting standards, regulations, payment term of the contract and company policies
the expense is recorded timely to appropriate account in Oracle
In charge for month-end closing of AP module:
Monthly AP reconcile between Sub-ledger and General ledger in accounting system (including payables & advance to vendor)
- Month-end bank & cash reconcile between Sub-ledger & General Ledger in accounting system & bank statement;
Assist with accrual of expense
Filling AP documents, ensure that all documents related to accounts payable are properly filed and maintained for future reference.
Others:
Support for monthly tax report
- Actively identify accounting issues and propose the solution to Head of Accounting team
- Support in providing internal and external auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
- Others ad-hoc task to be assigned by Line Manager
Job requirement:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- A minimum of 3+ years working experience in similar role, preferably operating under a shared service model
- Experience working with Oracle/SAP is a plus
- Careful, detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Able to work independently and multi-task

Description of the job
The Accounting Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing a comprehensive range of accounting, tax, and payroll services to clients. This position focuses on payroll management, accounting and tax compliance, overall financial oversight, and tax advisory. The role requires effective team supervision, strong client relationship management, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance across all accounting, tax, and payroll activities. The Accounting Supervisor will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be key in supporting the firm's objectives through exceptional service delivery
The Accounting Supervisor's responsibilities will include:
Client Relationship Management:
Collaborate closely with clients to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, effectively addressing their needs and concerns
Team Supervision:
Oversee, assist, and review the work of senior accountants, accounting officers, and junior staff to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients
Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional development.
Consulting and Advisory:
Assist the Manager in delivering consulting services related to effective and compliant accounting systems, tax matters, and human resource/labor issues.
Offer expertise to ensure clients' accounting and tax processes are efficient and comply with regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution:
Manage the quality of the allocated services, ensuring they meet established standards and deadlines.
Report directly to the Manager to seek advice and resolve any issues that arise
Service Delivery and Compliance:
Ensure all related services are delivered on time and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Review accounting and tax reports prepared by senior and junior staff, liaising with tax officers, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
It may be necessary to work directly and independently on certain tasks without support staff
Others:
Assist the Manger in managing client requirements, engagements, proposals, and ongoing firm requirements
Assisting the Manager, and Board of Management to formulate and execute strategies for client service enhancements.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent recognized professional qualifications in accountancy
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a professional accounting environment.
Strong technical expertise in Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations (including VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, and Transfer Pricing), along with other compliance matters, and a solid understanding of international accounting standards and reporting requirements
Proven experience in reviewing financial reports, preparing consolidated reports, and drafting advisory letters
Proficiency in local accounting software and knowledge of international accounting software are highly valued
Fluent in English, with demonstrated written communication skills; strong verbal communication abilities are highly preferred.
Possession of Vietnam CPA qualification and Chief Accountant Certificate is considered a strong advantage
