- Closely monitor all performance aspects of existing products (including, but not limited to, revenue drivers, cost drivers, credit performance and operational performance indicators) to drive & grow all key business vectors such as ENR, TOI, PBT
- Manage strategy for distribution channels as well as Merchant Acquiring to provide holistic propositions to customers at one end and drive profitability for the company at the other end.
- Create and implement Customer Life Cycle Management programs for ensuring optimal profitability of the products portfolio in terms of usage, loyalty and retention. Master Degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science. A minimum of 25 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial industry with a strong background in cards, payment industry and financial products. Should have managed very large teams in a multi-cultural environment. Prior experience in large MNC banks is a must. Multi geography experience of working across different cultures and countries and delivering is critical Have an in-depth understanding of card business & financial products, digital payments and merchant acquiring business Highly adept in marketing strategies and customer communication, should have worked and led large sales teams A strong leader with prior experience of managing very large teams. Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and grow partnerships across fintechs, e-commerce platforms, airlines, large-format retail & commerce, telcos, insurance providers, loyalty companies, ride-hailing services, and other emerging sectors.
Drive commercial negotiations and agreements with a strong understanding of P&L dynamics, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and value creation for Mastercard and its partners.
Co-create and implement tailored payment solutions, including embedded finance, co-branded programs, digital rewards, and omnichannel experiences.
Support the vision of a 'World Beyond Cash' by launching and scaling acceptance categories such as contactless, QR, mobile NFC, and e-commerce.
Collaborate with acquiring banks and merchants to grow acceptance in all channels.
