**1. Strategic Finance Leadership**

- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop short and long-term strategic plans and translate those plans into measurable financial objectives.
- Provide guidance to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team on the preparation of the annual budget planning and the preparation of forecasts, trends, and financial reports.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team in preparing business KPIs, board packages, investor reports, and reporting dashboards.
- Drive the team to develop recommendations on how to improve Pharmacity’s financial performance and uncover ways to make our organization more efficient.
- Partner with other departments to evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement changes that improve the accuracy and efficiency of the budget process (if applicable).
- Drive close integration of other departments and the Finance team to improve company performance

**3. Operational Excellence**
- Track performance against internal targets and external best practice, making timely interventions at appropriate times, and driving accuracy in sales, revenue, and cost forecasting
- Drive operational excellence and understanding of the competitive environment across the Finance team. Improve operational efficiency and associate accountabilities across the function.
- Build finance capabilities, tools, and skills on a continuing basis to increase efficiency and the value add of the Finance team across the business
- Drive improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency both within finance processes and across the business, including ensuring that our overall cost base is competitive in our market
- Meet relevant reporting requirements for external parties, including but not limited to, statutory, funding, and contracting parties
- Build a strong finance team culture of integrity, collaboration, data-driven and proactiveness

**4. Control and Risk Management**
- Strong risk management approach, helping the company identify business risks and implementing appropriate responses to the same
- Ensure that business controls and finance SOPs on credit collections, purchasing functions etc. are adequate and regularly updated as might be required
- Ensure control and governance requirements are met, at least in line with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with regulations
- Serve as the key custodian of compliance including Tax and Financial Regulatory requirements, and drive best in class control environment
