Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Build and maintain microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Work closely with product managers and QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
  • Design and manage database schemas (SQL and NoSQL) and optimize database performance.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across the stack.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural planning.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Proactively identify and propose improvements to development processes and systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Proficiency in one or more server-side languages such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or C#.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and design patterns.
  • Expertise in database technologies, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
