**Role Overview**:
The HR Consultant is responsible for a variety of Human Resources tasks or initiatives, including but not limited to advising people managers as well as colleagues across all levels on the execution of overall HR matters including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations as well as engagement activities. This role will act as a trusted adviser for colleagues in relation to general Human Resources queries.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition**:

- Ensure suitable selection of applicants to meet sections’ manpower requirements and reduce staff turnover. Build and maximize the recruitment budget on a cost-saving basis.
- Use analytic tools to support planning & drive agreed outcome with key stakeholders.
- Promote Diversity & Inclusive during hiring process.

**Learning and Development**:

- Analyze and submit the yearly training plan/proposed budget for the whole company based on updated Learning & Development model guided by the Regional
- Closely coordinate with department heads on the annual training program, design the specific training program for each department and implement them. Keep update the training requests raised by department heads and propose solutions/actions plan to these requests.
- Facilitate arranging training courses/classes registrations or administration formalities filling-up for the company staff’s participation
- Monitor the design and implementation of an integrated talent management strategy, succession plan and career development programs in partnership with BUHs.

**Partnership and Employee Relation**:

- Work closely with colleagues across all levels in providing HR consultation to optimize people, structure, process and culture, with the goal of achieving business results.
- Partnership in the implementation of staff activities that enhance colleagues’ engagement and wellbeing
- Handle employees’ relations matters including disciplinary issues, grievances and other employee disputes

**Employment**:

- Monitor general Human Resources Administration, such as the maintenance of employee personnel records, preparation of letters, contracts or other documents as well as the probation tracking, administering of leave, insurance, Trade Union and other benefits.
- Ensure the proper execution of HR policies and procedures in line with Company's operations and standard
- Manage continuous improvement activities and ensuring consistency and adherence to policies.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Support other local HR service deliveries including but not limited to Payrol and Benefits, Wellbeing innitiatives, etc.
- Partner with HRBPs, COEs, and HRSD team to deploy new delivery processes in the region and/or supported by global/regional HR Shared Services
- Facilitate the development and implementation of the Company's Business Continuous Plan
- Perform other similar tasks and/or projects assigned from time to time by the manager.
