You will lead a team of talented data scientists and researchers in developing, validating, and deploying advanced computational models that predict climate change impacts and inform mitigation strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, atmospheric physics, and large-scale data analysis. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of sophisticated climate models using cutting-edge techniques.
- Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Atmospheric Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior research role.
- Demonstrated expertise in climate modeling or related geophysical modeling.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and R.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and their application to scientific problems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to data analysis and validation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Proven track record of leading research projects and publishing in reputable scientific journals.
