**A DAY IN LIFE:**
+ Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) and Bias improvement;
+ Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor; information; other external/internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan;
+ In accordance with the Monthly Business Planning Process, communicate relevant information to related functions by highlighting gaps;
+ Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade offs;
+ Ensuring actions and Demand Plans are realistic and achievable;
+ Use appropriate statistical models and parameters, interpret results to generate accurate base demand forecasts;
+ Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders;
+ Effectively use all Demand Planning system functionality to support the preparation of 18 months demand plan;
+ Build and maintain good communication and collaboration both within Supply Chain and with Generating Demand, Manufacturing and Finance;
+ Challenge the demand plan figures by providing input on a regular basis regarding promotions, new product launches, portfolio optimization, and customer behavior;
+ Engage in NCE activities in order to have continuous improvements.

+ Minimum 2 years of relevant operational experience, preferably in FMCG, in at least one of the following areas:
+ Supply Planning
+ Commercial area (Sales, Marketing, CCSD)
+ Customer Service
+ Other supply chain functions
+ Finance: Business Planning/Dynamic Forecasting
+ Candidates without prior commercial experience are strongly encouraged to complete a mission in a sales-related function before joining Demand Planning.

**Demand Planning** **Specialist, Human Pharma**
This role oversees, manages and steers all demand planning activities for the OPU across a range of SKUs and product categories and thereby coordinates cross-functional inputs from sales and marketing and other sources to ensure optimized service levels and efficient inventory management.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
1. **Pivotal role working within S&OP cycle, facilitating the creation a robust demand forecast at SKU/week level across the operating horizon, by working closely with customer and commercial and supply chain contacts**
+ Manage the collaborative forecasting and replenishment process to align BI and customer plans on key events
+ Pro-actively manage the alignment of Futurcast with ROPU CSCM contacts
+ Maintain forecasting system (as required - HP specific)
+ Manage demand consensus within the OPU
+ Facilitate analytics-based OPU portfolio management/ rationalization process
+ Measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate demand planning process
+ Prepare analysis, reports and statistics related to Demand Planning and forecasting function
+ Ensure the maintainance of SKU replenishment master data (especially in GBS environment)
+ Manage supply planning process for locally sourced SKUs to ensure meeting set service level targets
+ Ensure that finished goods stocks within OPU and service levels are in line with annual targets
+ Ensure logistics preparation and execution in preparation of launch and change implementation with alignment with ROPU Demand Planning Lead(CSC application, SLCI, Launch Readiness Activities)
1. **Importation**
+ Check documents and response for amendment in case discrepancies
+ Follow up shipment arrival with forwarders / shipping lines
+ Coordinate with forwarder / shipping line to amend the consignee, goods description (if any)
+ Forward completed documents to Brokers for customs clearance
+ Follow up KPIs with Brokers on clearance to meet the targets
+ Coordinate with Brokers to set priority for urgent shipments to be cleared at soonest to avoid OOS
+ Coordinate with Brokers for getting the instructions in case shipment arrives with irregularities cargo reports
+ Invite insurer / surveyor to inspect the shipments in case requested for shipment arrives with damaged / missing situation
+ Coordinate with warehouse to set plan of shipment arrival per daily / weekly
1. **Order to Cash**
+ Create sales orders/FOC to distributors
+ Follow up Sales orders, provide an overview & related reports
**Requirements**
+ Proven capability in Demand Planning management in life science industry
+ In-depth understanding of and/or experience in supply chain management and systems
+ Experience in Demand Planning function within a manufacturing environment
+ A good track record of work within Supply Chain or Commercial functions
+ Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret information and reports
+ Ability to manage complexity whilst being comfortable with ambiguity
+ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
**Minimum Education/Degree Requirements**
+ University degree Bachelor or equivalent
+ APICS Certification is a plus
**Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies)**
+ At least 3-5 years experience in supply chain planning, especially demand planning in Pharma/Life Science industry and fast moving industry
+ Extensive know-how:in SAP APO / JDA; in MS Excel - analytics and mass data processing
**Language skills**
+ Proficient in English
**Communication skills**
+ Excellent communication skills
