About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PM (all levels) to join our game team in Vietnam. This role will ensure projects/products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of game development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
What You Will Do
Project/product Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Linear, Notion) for task tracking, reporting, and communication.
- Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Production:
- Participate in the entire game development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, programmers, and QA to define project requirements and goals.
- Ensure the creative vision of the game is maintained throughout development.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and challenges.
- Provide guidance and feedback to the team on game design, art, and technical aspects.
Communication & Reporting:
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and management.
- Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between team members and other departments.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working in a gaming company, preferably in a production management role.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
- Based in Vietnam and willing to work on-site at our studio.
- Demonstrated experience in managing, following up, and overseeing a game development team, including task tracking.
- Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
