Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will take responsibilities to work with team to ensure the stability and high effective operation of the facility & machining system.

Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment, supervise technicians, suppliers who perform maintenance and tool making.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
:

• Maintain the good condition of all mechanical system for facility and machining to minimize the idle time of the system, use the data from the system to see the trend and decide the maintenance plan.
• Review the technical standard in maintenance machine, use the deep knowledge to adjust to the most appropriate & updated technical document.
• Continuously participate in Kaizen, technical solution, treasure hunting to extend the life time, improve stability of machine and facility system, reduce the cost, saving energy, improve safety of machine and system.
• Utilize the manufacturing tools as Six Sigma, Lean to improve the effective of using labor and quality.
• Play a key role in NPI manufacturing support, work with vendor to prepare facility ready for manufacturing with highest quality and fulfill the timeline & EHS requirements.
• Foresee and prepare the facility ready for the business extension in near future, do the modification or extend if needed. Brainstorm different ways to use facility more effectively.
• Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention or correct those. Taking initiative to ensure work safety, solving health and safety issues.
• Work with cross-functional organizations both within the facility and Haiphong site.
• Conduct Total Preventive Maintenance & Preventive Maintenance
• Other tasks as requested from SMD Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 3+ years experience of maintenance and preventive in industrial factory, especially in Utilities system (such as: compress air, chiller, AHU, MAU, firefighting, cooling tower,…), manufacturing machines (such as: CNC, vacuum, sandblasting, painting, brazing, heating/oven, hydraulic, pneumatic,… systems).
• Have excellent knowledge about mechanical equipment and machines.
• Have knowledge about Oil and Hydraulic/ pneumatic/ mechanical/ coolant system
• Effective verbal & written communication in English & Vietnamese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to provide data analysis, engineering reports and management presentation updates.
• Lead Route Cause Analysis: Analysis & Problem solving
• Basic Knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements for an Industrial factory.

   công tác bảo trì định kỳ (PM), sửa chữa đột xuất (Breakdown Maintenance), và bảo trì trong các đợt dừng máy lớn (Shutdown/Turnaround)

Kinh nghiệm / Kỹ năng chi tiết

• Bằng cấp:
  Đại học / Kỹ sư chuyên ngành Cơ khí hoặc chuyên ngành kỹ thuật liên quan
• Giao tiếp tiếng Anh tốt (bắt buộc)
• Có kinh nghiệm
   trực tiếp sửa chữa, bảo trì, bảo dưỡng hệ thống, thiết bị cơ khí tại nhà máy hóa dầu, hóa chất hoặc công nghiệp nặng
• Có khả năng đọc bản vẽ P&ID và bản vẽ mặt cắt thiết bị.
• Thành thạo SAP (PM/MM), AutoCAD, MS Office

Implement the project execution and implementation plan of mechanical works in Upstream packages to meet schedule, budget, quality, safety, environment as well as related laws and regulations compliance.

Monitor and enforce the relevant EPC Contractors of Downstream packages perform their mechanical works to deliver the plants in compliance with the relevant requirements specified in the contracts.

Perform the contract management to ensure smooth work execution.

Cooperate with relevant functions within SPMU and LSP to manage between the mechanical discipline and others.

Preview the engineering drawing, reports, procedures and other deliverables submitted by EPC Contractors.

Update and report any obstacle and provide solutions or preventive and corrective actions.

Monitor implementation of plans and serve project team to resolve issues relating to the project execution, if any.

Provide suggestions on mechanical works as requested.

Follow and adhere to the Company's code of conduct, safety procedures and compliance with the applicable laws strictly.

Carry out the tasks assigned by Mechanical Leader/Mechanical Manager.

Job Description

1/ Preventive & predictive maintenance

• Create MAE maintenance work instruction and execute maintenance works
• Monitor, analyze and report machine condition trends and deploy measures if needed

2/ Corrective maintenance

• Analyze MAE problems, assess damage and execute the repair works
• Create the repair work instruction

3/ Problem solving and improvement

• Able to apply Problem solving tools and lead Problem solving PSS
• Able to lead all Improvements, 4M Changes on the existing test benches
• Work with IPTN partners, external suppliers/ manufacturers for improving and problem solving of MAEs

4/ Spare part control coordination

• Fabricate, modify & calibrate spare parts to ensure readiness for use
• Coordinate with material planner in planning spare part demand & stocking
• Build specifications and identify the potential local/ global suppliers

5/ Local and IPTN collaboration

• Communicate, share problem/ knowledge/ experience with local & IPTN counterparts
