Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Management Lead to oversee and optimize their operational functions. This is a fully remote leadership position, ideal for an individual with a proven ability to drive efficiency, implement best practices, and manage complex operational workflows. You will be responsible for developing and executing operational strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a comprehensive understanding of operational management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee daily operations, managing resources, workflows, and performance metrics across various departments.
  • Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success and regularly track and report on progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of service/product delivery.
  • Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies to streamline operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between different departments and leadership.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential operational disruptions.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully improving operational efficiency and managing complex operational environments. Strong understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in data analysis and performance management tools. This is a fully remote position, requiring exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to effectively manage a dispersed team and operations.
