Job Description

Job Purpose

You will actively contribute to the development and maintenance of gameplay systems with partial ownership. You are expected to work independently on mid-level challenges, apply clean code practices, and help prototype and implement gameplay features. You will also collaborate across teams and may guide junior developers while refining your technical depth and decision-making skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and maintain gameplay systems with a focus on client and/or server-side functionalities of the gameplay features. (Depending on the specific project, the game engine can be Unreal, Unity or Gameloft internal engine).
• Collaborate with game designers and artists to integrate and iterate on gameplay mechanics, including implementing game UI, gameplay features, game events, rewards systems and other mechanics to enhance player retention and satisfaction.
• Resolve mid-level technical issues independently with minimal supervision
• Develop and maintain the technical tools and automation solution to streamline the game development and content creation workflow.
• Optimize the user experience and performance to ensure smooth experience on many devices (PlayStation, xBox, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS devices, Android phones).
• Estimate tasks and plan feature implementation in collaboration with leads and producers
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including local team members and/or in team members from other Gameloft studios in Montreal, Brisbane, Barcelona… in cross studios project for global markets
• Help support and guide junior team members, fixing bug
• Contribute to improving the workflows and documentation
• Participate in documentation, feedback loops, and regular team meetings

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or relevant hands-on experience (projects, internships).
• Good English communication, at least CEFR level B1 or above
• Strong knowledge of gameplay programming with experience in C++ and/or C#.
• Multi-platform gameplay programming experience covering PC, console, and mobile game development.
• Demonstrated experience with game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
• Working knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git, Perforce).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to work independently on defined tasks to estimate, plan, and execute feature-level tasks and solve mid-level technical problems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with proactive and supportive attitude in team-based environments
• Understanding rendering API as DirectX12, Vulkan, OpenGL is a big plus

A Senior Gameplay Programmer is a core contributor to the design and implementation of gameplay features that captivate players and elevate our game. You'll work in tight collaboration with designers, artists, and other engineers to bring innovative and polished gameplay experiences to life.

Qualifications

Yêu cầu công việc:

In this role, you will:

• Receive 2D drawings or 3D models from the Department Manager.
• Use specialized software to create or refine 3D models.
• Develop machining plans and program CNC machines for precision parts.
• Export and verify CNC programs, prepare machining setup instructions, and support machine operators.
• Continuously improve machining programs to enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiently use CNC programming software for machining operations.

Read and interpret complex technical drawings; build 3D product models using professional CAD/CAM software.

Understand machining tools, fixtures, machines, and manufacturing standards.

Calculate raw material dimensions and develop optimal machining plans ensuring tolerance and rigidity.

Decide on the most suitable machining strategies for complex, high-precision components.

Export and validate CNC programs; prepare process sheets and operation guidelines for machinists.

Identify and correct programming errors that cause product issues.

Production Programmer

Công việc:

• Lập trình và chuẩn bị file cho máy CNC (Amada, Voortman, v.v.)

• Chuyển đổi bản vẽ kỹ thuật và dữ liệu thiết kế thành chương trình sản xuất

• Kiểm tra độ chính xác của bản vẽ, danh sách vật liệu và kích thước

• Quản lý thư viện chương trình, mẫu và hồ sơ truy xuất dữ liệu

• Phối hợp với đội ngũ sản xuất tại Úc để đảm bảo tiến độ và chất lượng gia công

Yêu cầu:

• Tốt nghiệp chuyên ngành Kỹ thuật, Cơ khí, Thiết kế hoặc Sản xuất

• Có hiểu biết về CAD/CAM, CNC hoặc phần mềm kỹ thuật (SigmaNEST, AutoCAD, VACAM)

• Kỹ năng phân tích, xử lý dữ liệu kỹ thuật và tổ chức file

• Tiếng Anh giao tiếp và đọc hiểu bản vẽ tốt

• Ưu tiên ứng viên yêu thích công nghệ gia công thép & lập trình CNC
