DIRECT REPORTS:
R&D Managers by product category, and Department Heads such as Testing & Experimentation, Industrial Design, etc.

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Work closely with the Chairman to develop the product strategy for Karofi. Execute the plan and take full responsibility for the performance and operations of the Karofi R&D Company.

I. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop R&D Strategy

• Formulate and execute mid-to-long-term R&D strategies that align with the company's vision.

• Ensure R&D activities meet market demands and leverage emerging technologies.

2. Lead and Develop R&D Team

• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing R&D team (over 100 engineers).

• Foster an innovative and collaborative working environment.

3. Product Development

• Oversee the full product development cycle—from ideation, design, and testing to commercialization.

• Incorporate cutting-edge technologies into new product development

4. Technology and Process Optimization

• Recommend and implement advanced technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

• Ensure all new products comply with international standards for safety, quality, and performance.

5. Budget and Resource Management

• Build and manage R&D budgets with effective allocation and cost control.

• Evaluate project ROI and make informed investment decisions.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Sales, and Marketing to ensure new products are aligned with customer needs and market trends.

• Support product launches and contribute to marketing strategy development.

III. REQUIREMENTS

- Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Engineering, Technology, Product Management, or equivalent.

• At least 15 years of experience in R&D, including 5 years in senior management roles.

- Technical Expertise

• Extensive knowledge of R&D processes, product development, and modern production technologies.

• Proven ability to manage and develop teams of engineers and R&D professionals.

- Leadership Skills

• Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to develop and lead teams effectively.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced technological environment.

- Languages:
Proficiency in English is preferred. Additional language skills, such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese, would be an advantage.

MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC:

• Test, phân tích game và dự đoán mức độ thành công của sản phẩm trên thị trường.

• Thực hiện nghiên cứu, phân tích xu hướng & thị hiếu người dùng để làm báo cáo thị trường.

YÊU CẦU:

1. Kiến thức, kinh nghiệm

• Ưu tiên có 1 năm kinh nghiệm trở lên làm việc tại vị trí tương đương hoặc có kinh nghiệm vận hành game MMORPG
• Yêu thích game, có thể chơi nhiều thể loại game, có khả năng hiểu nhanh nội dung game.
• Có kiến thức, thường xuyên theo dõi các tin tức về thị trường Game trong nước và nước ngoài.

2. Kỹ năng:

• Kỹ năng test game, bóc tách core loop - meta loop - monetization
• Có khả năng nghiên cứu và tìm kiếm thông tin, nắm bắt nhanh xu hướng và cập nhật thông tin.
• Tìm kiếm, xử lý dữ liệu sơ cấp, thứ cấp và tổng hợp dữ liệu thành insight
• Viết báo cáo, làm slide, trực quan hóa thông tin để các team có thể tiếp nhận hiệu quả nhất

A. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technology Development

• Initiate and evaluate technology development ideas for Food, Beverage, and Dairy products.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to screen and select ideas for development.
• Prepare and present project development plans for approval.
• Lead implementation of approved technology development projects.
• Coordinate with production teams to organize and oversee first production runs, ensuring product quality and compliance with specifications.

2. Contract Manufacturing Management (OEM)

• Identify, evaluate, and develop contract manufacturing partners based on quality, cost, production capacity, and safety criteria.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with contract manufacturers.
• Support negotiation of contracts and supply agreements to ensure partners meet business and compliance requirements.

3. Product & Technology Development with Contract Manufacturers

• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to develop new products aligned with company business needs.
• Partner with contract manufacturers' R&D teams to refine formulas and production technologies.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations, providing insights to senior management and relevant teams.

4. Quality & Compliance Management

• Work with internal quality control teams and contract manufacturers' QA departments to ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality Management Department to conduct supplier audits and ensure OEM products meet both standards and legal requirements.
• Resolve quality-related issues in collaboration with internal quality teams.
• Provide technical documentation and regulatory compliance files to customers.
• Manage product-related documentation and certifications to ensure regulatory compliance.

B. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in R&D, product development, or contract manufacturing management within Food, Beverage, or Dairy industry.
• Experience in managing third-party manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of food production processes, technology, and quality management systems.
