Responsibilities
- Complete the Language and Culture Teachers Training Program at VLS;
- Plan, prepare and deliver on-campus (Saigon Branch – former District 1, Thao Dien Branch – former District 2 and Phu My Hung Branch – former District 7), off-campus and online lessons to individual students or groups of students;
- Develop and use a variety of teaching activities and assignments based on student's proficiency levels, needs, goals and class curricula to help students improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a dynamic, engaging, interactive and effective learning environment;
- Provide students all the assistance needed to ensure a learning progress and facilitate an overall welcoming learning and social environment;
- Accurately evaluate students' performances and compose relevant progress reports to communicate information to the relevant parties;
- Participate in periodic training and development programs to stay up to date with industry specific skills and knowledge;
- Work collaboratively with other departments to facilitate daily operational responsibilities, including but not limited to recruiting new students, scheduling lessons, promoting schoolwide activities, providing excellent customer services, adhering to classroom policies, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree(s) or higher in linguistics or foreign languages;
- Excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with a clear and distinctive Southern accent or Northern accent;
- Good understanding of and appreciation for language, culture and traditions;
- High motivation to teach this language and work with international students;
- Good command of Korean, Chinese, or Japanese language skills;
- Ability to lead an interactive and spontaneous classroom;
- Clear diction, lateral thinking, positive can-do attitude;
- Patient, friendly, dedicated, confident and flexible;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Willing to commute to and between different class locations within Ho Chi Minh City;
- Advanced computer skills.

Recruitment Process

- Conduct a second trial teaching session for VLS's Academic Team;
- Sign a training agreement;
- Provide specialized, in-depth training;
- Evaluate after training and trial teaching with VLS students;
- Assign the official class and commence the probation period;
- Sign the employment contract and officially become a VLS teacher.
