Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Counsel specializing in Corporate Compliance to join their esteemed legal department. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to the company's integrity and regulatory adherence from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive compliance programs, ensuring that the company operates in full adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your expertise will be vital in identifying and mitigating compliance risks.

- Develop, implement, and maintain robust corporate compliance programs and policies.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, competition law) and assess their impact on the company.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to business units and management.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees across all levels.
- Investigate compliance concerns and allegations of misconduct, ensuring thorough and discreet handling.
- Manage the company's response to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging compliance trends.
- Draft and review compliance-related agreements and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure integrated compliance efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks within Vietnam and international jurisdictions where applicable.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
- Admission to the Vietnam Bar Association or eligibility for practice.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law, with a significant focus on compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese corporate law, commercial law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Experience in specific areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, PDPA), or sanctions compliance is highly desirable.
