About this team
The LLO Global Quality team primarily focuses on quality assurance tasks from pre-production to shipment with our finished goods vendors (FGV) in the field. We aim to ensure high-quality products in stores and help vendors improve their quality continuously and efficiently. We accomplish this through product development quality risk assessment, vendor technical evaluation, readiness support, quality inspection, and vendor empowerment training with our partners.
**A day in the life**:
- Manage a team of quality educators to ensure quality assurance in the field
- Implement lululemon's quality standards and SOP with our vendors and team while monitoring their KPI scorecard to meet lululemon's requirements
- Work on quality prevention and risk management plans with the team and vendors seasonally
- Handle technical evaluation and factory audits for new vendors and factories and train ICP auditors while implementing a vendor empowerment program
- Manage pilot runs and HAS styles with the team and FGV to train vendors on technical readiness
- Support the manufacturing excellence (ME) drive for quality efficiency and operation breakdown efficiently; master the disposition and work with the vendor to come up with CAPA with the team in case of quality failure
- Ensure endline report completeness with the QA team and VOP for problem-solving, and follow up on VOG feedback to work out improvement plans with FGV and the team
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textiles, or a related field, along with at least 8-10 years of experience working on the factory floor in the apparel industry
- 3-5 years of experience in a cross-functional quality control role, ideally within an athletic apparel brand
- Knowledge of industry Quality Assurance initiatives such as TQM and six sigma is preferred
- Strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction, and related machinery is required, along with an understanding of fabric quality, lab testing knowledge and GMT construction
- Proficient in MRP software, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential, with the ability to travel internationally
- Preferred knowledge and involvement in yoga and/or other fitness, health or sports activities is a plus
- Excellent team player, able to work independently, and possess a responsible, dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset

Job Description
The Device Quality Manager (DQM) is responsible for ensuring that Amazon products are manufactured for quality. During the new product development (NPI), the DQM will develop an out of box audit (OBA) process for factory production based on critical to customer use cases of the product. With guidance from cross-functional product core team, DQM will work with the contract manufacturer in delivering a robust OBA process that validates product HW/SW functionality and product cosmetics characteristics to ensure that Lab126 delivers high quality products to customers. DQM will also lead small regional team to assess customer shipment readiness from Southeast Asia manufacturing factories.
The DQM will also own factory quality in the sustaining phase of the product. The successful candidate will monitor production performance against established quality goals by conducting regular factory audits, partnering with fellow Amazonian in factories to lead full investigation and failure analysis leading to root cause determination and subsequent closed loop corrective action. DQM must possess a high sense of urgency when managing critical issues. DQM will lead factory quality lessons learned and institutes remedies to prevent re-occurrence of such issues.
In addition, the DQM will provide production quality health report to management in sustaining phase and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the job. DQM will also initiate quality pre-alert for any quality escapes from the factory impacting customers and lead cross-functional teams in problem solving activities to provide effective issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of a BSME/BSIE/BSEE or related Engineering degree
- Preferred 7+ years of working experience in engineering and/or quality role with 5+ years in a manufacturing quality environment.
- Good understanding of electronic assembly processes mostly on consumer electronics.
- Problem Solver - Deliver solutions to complex problems through in-depth data analysis and forensics, using methodical approach such as DMAIC along with experience, innovation and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information
- Solid understanding and demonstrated success with practical applications of Lean / Six Sigma tools such as Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis, Analysis of Variance, Hypothesis Testing, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Charts, Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility, Cpk.
- Technical knowledge of conducting process audits and formulating plans to drive continual quality improvements within the factory operations
- Must be self-motivated/self-directed, is able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and flawlessly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese
Preferred Qualifications
- MSME/MSIE/MSEE
- Six Sigma Green/Black belt, ASQ CQE/M/A certifications are highly desired.
- Ability to create and innovate quality deliverables/processes during new product development and sustaining program management
- Advanced understanding and deployment of quality tools
- Ability to influence others and interact at all levels within the organization

**Reporting to the **Chief Technology Officer **you will be responsible for**:
- Assist in the review and development of project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards
- Assist and provide leadership in the development of robust QC processes and standards to enable the client’s successful project completion
- Provide training of personnel to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QC process, including the interface and response to audits such as those conducted by the client or third parties (stakeholders supporting the project)
- Develop, manage, and implement related quality control plans such as Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Procedures, Test Suites, Test cases, Test scripts, Test scenarios, and Test conditions as required by projects.

- Communicate with stakeholders to update the status of your plan and related quality issues, and ensure their engagement in requirements and project deliverables.
- Improve quality control process, tools, techniques, and testing methodology.
- Maximize or optimize possibilities of automation testing and manual testing during the development life cycle as required by the project.
- Participate in R&D activities of the team.
- Support your manager and directors in making Test Policies, Test Processes.
- Perform performance monitoring and annual review for the team.
- Build up communication and collaboration among QC team members.
- Ensure good cooperation between QC teams and other functional teams.
- Report to your direct manager and related project managers as required.
- Regularly analyze and make statistical quality data reports and propose approaches to improve.
