Management Duties
- Will ensure that a high standard of patient care, nursing care and practice is provided by nursing staff. Nursing Care
- Will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of nursing care in the clinic
- Will ensure that all nurses demonstrate competency in all procedures contained in the Raffles Medical Nursing skills assessment doc.
- Will ensure that all nurses carry out procedures ordered by the doctor in a timely accurate and safe manner.
- Will administer medicines, injections and vaccinations as ordered by the doctor, giving all appropriate information to the patient and ensuring medication is checked according to standard operating procedure.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide emergency room care & assist in resuscitation efforts.
- Will prepare laboratory specimens as per Raffles Medical Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (POPs)
- Will supervise and participate in the on call duties if requested. Will participate in the on-call roster and adhere to the on-call procedures.
- Will supervise and participate in the escort of patients as required and directed by the Clinical Director and the Clinic & Operation Manager
- Will supervise and participate in the escort patients to and from outside service providers for diagnostic tests.
- Will maintain a high level of nursing care and professionalism during patient escorts

Clinical Governance
- Will read, understood and acknowledge compliance with the Raffles Medical standards for medical facilities and Policies and Procedure.(POP’s) and make sure staff are compliant
- Will monitor the nursing documentation as per Raffles Medical Policies and Procedures (POPs) and provide a signature to every entry in a patient file.
- Will be competent in all procedures contained within the Raffles Medical Skills Assessment Manual making sure that nursing staff are competent in these processes
- Will comply with Raffles Medical Policies and Procedure on the administration of patient records.

Patient’s Rights and Confidentiality
- Will maintain confidentiality of all information related to Raffles Medical business and clients
- Will have a good working knowledge of patient rights in relation to consent & withdrawal of consent.

Customer Services
- Will facilitate effective teamwork and good channels of communication between departments.
- Will achieve a high standard of customer service & telephone technique.
- Will immediately notify the Clinic Manager or CMO of any patient complaints or possible patient complaints and will attempt to deal with the complaint in a sensitive manner.
- Will promote the work of Raffles Medical to other organizations.

Health and Safety
- Will report accidents and incidents immediately to the Clinic Manager using the Risk Management System
- Will ensure that all safety & security considerations are considered in work practices.
- Will be conversant in Fire Safety procedures

Infection Control
- Will observe standard precautions at all times as per with Raffles Medical Standard Infection Control Manual.
- Will have a good working knowledge of additional precautions that may be required for infectious patients.
- Will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of cleaning and sterilizing procedures as required by Raffles Medical POP and make sure staff follow these requirements
