1/ Basic Job Functions:
- To supervise and assist in managing the outsourced security, physical security operations and security systems to meet security objectives in line with First Solar’s core values and behaviors.
2/ Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing the daily cost-effective execution of site security programs and associated operations, personnel and systems.
- To perform preliminary investigations related to loss, criminal activity or other issues as reported by associates.
- Assists to develop and implement site security policies and processes based on the First Solar Security Policy and Procedure Manual, customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintains current knowledge of key First Solar Corporate Security and customer initiatives and their impact on the site security programs.
- Maintains familiarity with the site emergency response procedures and participates in emergency response teams, exercises and events as directed.
- Provides initial security orientation, ongoing awareness briefings and security training to site associates utilizing materials developed with the assistance and direction of the Site Security Manager or Corporate Security Director or team.
- Implement and manage an effective comprehensive monthly security system
- testing program is in place to include documenting each point tested and the result with appropriate corrective action addressing discrepancies coordinated through Facilities and Corporate Security staff.
- Able to identify risk and process improvement opportunity, develop and present cost effective countermeasures and solutions, gain stakeholder concurrence and implement change.

1/ Education:
- Possess degree in a relevant discipline.
2/ Experience
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in a supervisory/lead position in security or loss prevention department of an industrial organization.
- Experience in AMAG system management, CCTV system management will be an advantage.
- Service experience as officer in the armed forces or the police force will be an advantage.
3/ Required Skills/Competencies:
- The ability to interact well with all levels of associates and management.
- Ability to work independently with good problem solving skill.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good networking and contacts with relevant law enforcement agencies eg. Police force.
- Has good knowledge of security programs and systems, and investigation skill.
- Good at English.
4/ Physical Requirements:
- Physically fit and be able to walk around in the site especially during audits or patrols.
