About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Maintenance & Services Engineer to join our client's team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles through maintenance training, pre-delivery inspections, repair training, shop management and audits, repair record reviews, parts management, inventory support, and SLA tracking. This position requires a strong background in 2-wheeler motorcycle service and maintenance, excellent training skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. The role is based in our Ho Chi Minh City office and requires onsite presence to effectively perform the required tasks. You will be provided with a laptop to facilitate your work.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct SSS Maintenance Training, providing instruction on maintenance techniques.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on 50 vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Deliver SSS Repair Training, including major repair instruction and battery pairing support.
- Manage and audit Certified Repair Shops, conducting inspections, interviews, and generating detailed reports.
- Review Repair Records and manage parts, including photo and work order review to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide Monthly Inventory Support by conducting physical inventory checks with shops to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Track and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs), assessing delays and implementing resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and develop effective repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience and skill in 2-wheeler motorcycle service and maintenance mechanics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Experience with Electric 2-Wheelers (E2W) is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanics training skills with the ability to effectively instruct and mentor others.
- Experience in inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient parts handling.
- Knowledge of workshop certification and audit processes, with the ability to conduct thorough inspections and assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using computer-based diagnostic tools and software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
