The payment processing officer is responsible for handling the Payment Operations and Loan Operations of transaction processing. The overall objective of this role is to maintain the transaction processing and provide support to the in-perimeter team during the TSA period
**Responsibilities**:
- Support transaction processing from ICG system perspective, as well as from consumer platform perspective, including
- Processing of LOPs and Personal Loans and Disbursals.
- P & L maintenance and payoff, financial adjustment.
- Payment exception handling & investigation.
- Fund / Beneficiary validation and return
- ATM, POS settlement system processing.
- Issue investigation and response
- Other respective tasks
**Professional Qualities**:
- Assumes additional responsibility without being asked.
- Demonstrates the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results.
- Shares acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels.
**Requirements**:
- Holds a Degree preferably in Banking / Systems Management.
- At least 3 years of working experience in related area.
- Exposure to software such as MS Access / MS Word / MS Excel (Visual Basic is an advance).
- Flexible working timing

**Position summary**:
- Have a good understanding of Application Architecture in the Financial Institutions
- Understand the concepts of Open Banking and API and Microservices architecture
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of the tech trends in Financial Services in the areas of Banking, Insurance, Payments, Wealth Management and various Assets and Liabilities products
- Provide clients with recommendations for improvements based on international standards on IT Organization Design and Structure,, IT Operating Model, system development and delivery process;
**Should be adept in developing at least one or more of the following**:
- Application architecture
- Infrastructure architecture
- Data architecture
**Essense of the role**:
- Support client to solve business and technology issues through collaboration and teaming;
- Communicate and work with client to define business requirements in mapping with the IT solutions for business management;
- Develop the solutions that meet client’s expectations on business requirements and/or performance improvement;
- Support delivery of Business/IT Transformation Programme, e.g. Business solution review/ design, IT Strategy, Business Process Reengineering to support system implementation, etc.;
- Deliver the solution in a professional manner with high quality result;
- Use business and data analysis techniques to support problem solving;
- Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients;
- Manage the engagements in compliance with EY methodologies;
**Experience and Education**:
- At least 12 years of experience in banking systems & technology or 12 years in IT system deployment projects for banking and finance sectors
- Experienced in Technology and Digital Transformation Transformation in Banking, Insurance or Capital Markets
- Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, banking or a related field.
- Experience of managing, RFPs, vendor selection and management etc
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
**Mandatory requirements**:
- Well communicating and defining the business/IT requirements with clients and teams and develop the business IT solution (business and IT requirements) that meets the client's expectations;
- Strong experience in business process management;
- Strong banking/FS industry experience
- Good knowledge about the business and IT transformation;
- Experience in delivery of large scale business/technology transformation programs
- High ability to review business and IT processes, Application development (SDLC), system architecture, Information security;
- For data professionals, demonstrate Deep understanding about Data design and implementation, data analysis, data model, Enterprise intelligence/analytics, Business analysis with IT Tools;
- Good knowledge about banking IT strategy, IT architecture, IT governance and management;
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management;
- Experience with Project management;
**Other skills and requirements**:
- Good skills in presentation, interpretation, facilitation, team management and other soft skills;
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, research capability and problem-solving skills.
- Having solid business consulting skills and be able to work consultatively on a strategic or operational level.
- Significant consulting experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large recognized organizations.
- High degree of experience presenting to customers and industry groups is required.
