2. Minimum 6 years of working experience in supply chain, of which a minimum of 2~3 years of Production Planning equivalent experience.
3. Good data analytical skills and attention to details;
4. Good English communication/presentation skill (both written and verbal);
5. Experienced user of MS Office, specifically Excel;
6. Self-driven, able to work independently in ambiguity situation with little supervision;
7. Highly organized, can prioritize in complex, fast-paced, ever-changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
8. This role requires some travel.
The overall responsibility of this role is to balance product supply to consumer demand, ensuring we have the right products in the right place at the right time while enabling the factory to operate efficiently and effectively.
Key job responsibilities
Amazon Device is currently working with OEM suppliers in Asia and has established an operations team in Asia to support new product builds, product ramp, supply availability and competitive sourcing activities.
1. Facilitate Production simulation to support Build Decision and Production Forecast update;
2. Work out Master Production Schedules and the corresponding Available to Ship Schedules;
3. Build Plan management, monitor assigned programs’ build plans to best support Production Forecast;
4. Purchase Order Management, Monitor PO readiness to the CM, manage shipment commitments from CM; Under supply interruption, work with cross function team to come up with the best delivery schedule and ATS plan;
5. Daily monitor CM production, understand overall production status vs Production Forecast in the factory;
6. Act as the primary liaison between the CM and downstream team, US planning team, perform timely escalation for their programs’ shipment interruptions. Monitor and manage OTD performance.

- MAIN TASKS
- Responsible for over-all operation of Product Engineering Department including Packing Engineering.
- Coordinates closely with RDD and Production, thus making review of plans to make sure that the item is properly engineered in terms of material and processes, making sure that every part produced is safe and economical.
- Coordinates with clients / designers on the specifications of new sample items, assist development of new samples for Market and Shows.
- Establish and formulate Engineering standards such as construction, material cuttings, sizes and process procedures

- Product Value Engineering:

- Coordinates testing of new methods and evaluates test results.
- Recommends technical direction for research and development programs to enhance production methods to improve over-all efficiency and reduce costs.
