Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Power BI developer to join our global AI, Data & Analytics team and help deliver insights and solutions. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting BI solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various teams and departments to gather requirements, design data models, build visualizations, deliver dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities
+ Engage with business users to gather and understand their data and reporting needs
+ Document and communicate data definitions, business rules, and best practices
+ Design and develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Databricks
+ Create efficient data models in Power BI using DAX calculations and Power Query M
+ Publish and share dashboards and reports to workspaces and apps
+ Optimize data models and reports for performance and usability
+ Implement row-level security on data and ensure data integrity
+ Ensure data quality and accuracy by validating and testing data sources, queries, and calculations
+ Provide support and training to end users on Power BI features and functionalities
+ Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Power BI and other BI technologies and best practices
Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or more than 2 years of related experience
+ Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
+ Proven experience as a Power BI developer in a Premium Capacity using a variety of data sources
+ Proficient in Power BI, DAX, Power M language, and data modeling techniques
+ Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Preferred:
+ Certification in Power BI or other data visualization tools
+ Experience in other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or SSRS
+ Experience in data warehousing, ETL, or data integration
+ Knowledge of data analysis and statistics
+ Experience in agile or scrum methodologies
Soft skills
+ Strong communication skills, ability to clearly communicate well in both written and spoken English.
+ Japanese language is a plus but not mandatory

- Analyze geological and engineering data (logs, core data, production data, seismic data) to characterize reservoirs.
- Develop and maintain dynamic reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE).
- Perform reservoir performance analysis, including production forecasting, decline curve analysis, and material balance calculations.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and optimize injection strategies.
- Conduct uncertainty analysis and probabilistic assessment of reserves and resources.
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers to develop integrated field development plans.
- Monitor reservoir performance and recommend adjustments to production strategies to optimize recovery.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and economic evaluations for management and stakeholders.

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong focus on data analysis and numerical simulation.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Schlumberger's ECLIPSE, Halliburton's Landmark tools, CMG Suite).
- Expertise in data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization tools.
