2. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role will involve testing new game features and promotions as well as maintaining the stability of live production environments. The QA will play a key role in ensuring new features work as expected while also monitoring live systems for any issues. The role requires flexibility to work during weekends and manage overtime as needed, particularly during critical testing periods or production incidents.

Game Feature & Promotion Testing:

• Test game features (bonuses, loyalty programs, etc.) to ensure functionality and quality.
• Perform manual testing on both desktop and mobile platforms. Willing to adapt to automation testing scripts (Python).
• Identify, document, and track bugs using Lark, ensuring effective follow-ups and clear communication with the team.
• Conduct full system/regression testing to ensure updates or new features don't affect existing functionality.

Production Environment Monitoring & Stability:

• Test and verify production hotfixes, patches, and updates to minimize disruption to live systems.
• Monitor the live production environment for performance issues, bugs, or user-facing incidents.
• Proactively identify and document critical issues in the live system, working with developers for quick resolution.
• Perform regression and smoke testing post-deployment to ensure stability and minimal user disruption.

3. REQUIREMENT

• 2+ years of manual QA testing experience, with exposure to both feature testing and live system monitoring.
• Strong understanding of promotion mechanics and game feature testing.
• Familiar with the bug life cycle and defect reporting processes.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient when working under pressure, particularly during production incidents.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality testing.
• Comfortable using Lark for communication, bug tracking, and test documentation.
• Good spoken and written English for reporting issues and coordinating with teams.
• Basic knowledge of ISTQB Foundation (certification not required but will be assessed).
• Willingness to work outside standard hours, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred:

• Experience with live digital products or in environments requiring high availability.
• Familiarity with production monitoring tools and performance testing.

CHI TIẾT CÔNG VIỆC

• Phân tích yêu cầu và thiết kế kiểm thử: Đọc hiểu các tài liệu yêu cầu (SRS, FSD, User Stories) để phân tích và xác định các trường hợp kiểm thử cần thiết. Thiết kế các kịch bản kiểm thử (test cases) chi tiết, bao gồm cả kiểm thử chức năng và phi chức năng.
• Phát triển và duy trì Test Automation Framework: Tham gia vào việc xây dựng, phát triển và duy trì các framework kiểm thử tự động. Lựa chọn và áp dụng các công cụ, ngôn ngữ lập trình phù hợp cho việc tự động hóa kiểm thử.
• Viết và thực thi Test Script tự động: Viết các đoạn mã (script) kiểm thử tự động bằng các ngôn ngữ lập trình như Java, Python, hoặc các công cụ chuyên biệt (ví dụ: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, Ranorex, TestComplete). Thực thi các bộ kiểm thử tự động và phân tích kết quả.
• Báo cáo và theo dõi lỗi: Ghi nhận, phân tích và báo cáo các lỗi (bugs) phát hiện được trong quá trình kiểm thử. Theo dõi trạng thái lỗi và làm việc với đội phát triển để đảm bảo lỗi được khắc phục kịp thời.
• Quản lý dữ liệu kiểm thử: Có khả năng thu thập, xây dựng hệ thống lưu trữ dữ liệu, label và đánh giá chất lượng dữ liệu phục vụ cho việc kiểm thử, đặc biệt là dữ liệu liên quan đến các kịch bản tự động hóa.
• Tối ưu hóa và cải tiến quy trình: Liên tục tìm kiếm các cơ hội để tối ưu hóa các kịch bản kiểm thử tự động, cải thiện hiệu suất và độ tin cậy của bộ kiểm thử. Đề xuất các cải tiến cho quy trình kiểm thử tổng thể.
• Phối hợp liên chức năng: Làm việc chặt chẽ với các lập trình viên, BA, và các thành viên khác trong nhóm để đảm bảo sự hiểu biết chung về yêu cầu và chất lượng sản phẩm.

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC

1. Trình độ

2. Trình độ tương đương Đại học trở lên trong các ngành Công nghệ thông tin, Khoa học Máy tính, Điện tử Viễn thông hoặc các lĩnh vực liên quan.

3. Ưu tiên có các chứng chỉ chuyên ngành về kiểm thử phần mềm (ví dụ: ISTQB).

6. Ưu tiên có kinh nghiệm làm việc trong lĩnh vực camera giám sát hoặc các dự án outsource cho thị trường Nhật Bản.

7. Kỹ năng chuyên môn

8. Nắm vững các nguyên lý và phương pháp kiểm thử phần mềm.

9. Thành thạo ít nhất một ngôn ngữ lập trình (ví dụ: Java, Python, C#) để viết test script.
10. Có kinh nghiệm làm việc với các công cụ/framework kiểm thử tự động (ví dụ: Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest).
11. Hiểu biết về CI/CD và kinh nghiệm tích hợp kiểm thử tự động vào quy trình CI/CD (ví dụ: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
12. Có kinh nghiệm làm việc với các hệ thống quản lý lỗi (ví dụ: Jira, Bugzilla) và quản lý test case (ví dụ: TestLink, Zephyr).

13. Ưu tiên:
     Đã từng xây dựng, tham gia vị trí QC cho các dự án phát triển camera giám sát.  Kinh nghiệm kiểm thử hiệu năng (Performance Testing) hoặc kiểm thử bảo mật (Security Testing).

EPAM Vietnam is looking for a highly motivated
Senior Test Automation Engineer
to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in transitioning our testing services from primarily manual to automated. If you have strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, you are the perfect fit.

Responsibilities

• Define effective testing strategies and identify opportunities to optimize resources and introduce automation
• Execute manual test cases across various functionalities, logging all identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues not covered by predefined test cases
• Continuously update and refine test cases and steps to reflect changes in the application's current version
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive test data bank to support scenario-based testing across multiple use cases
• Participate in usability testing sessions to identify user experience issues and recommend improvements
• Document test execution results thoroughly, including defect logs and regression testing coverage
• Lead the migration of test automation from Karate to Pytest, taking full ownership of the transition process

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software testing and/or test automation experience, dealing with complex technical issues and tasks
• Proficiency in test automation using Python programming and familiarity with tools such as Karate and Gatling
• Experience in customer-facing roles, with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Solid background in test management and functional testing across various platforms
• Good understanding of test automation approaches and principles
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and test automation processes
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2) with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
