Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on incoming raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products according to company standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain quality testing equipment in the lab.
- Record, compile, and report daily quality inspection results.
- Coordinate with production departments to address issues related to product quality. 5. Participate in the development, updating, and implementation of procedures and guidelines related to the quality management system (QA).
- Support the execution of internal audits, document control, and quality record keeping.
- Propose measures to improve quality control processes and participate in related improvement projects.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Experience
- Experience working in a QC/QA position in a manufacturing plant (preferably in the paint or chemical industry).
- Knowledge of quality standards and quality management systems (ISO, 5S, etc.).
- Good analytical, synthesis, and reporting skills.
- P roficient in using office computers and lab equipment. Sensitive to colors, with the ability to distinguish and adjust colors well.
- Able to work in two shifts (morning - afternoon).
- Preference for candidates living in the Bien Hoa area.
Education
- Graduated from College/University with a major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Technology, or related fields.

- Handling customer complaint.
- Control supplier quality (Material/ OS FGs): work with supplier about quality issue and monitor until closing.
- Weekly audit on shopfloor.
- Monitor and analyze data: NCR, customer complaint, audit finding to take improvement actions.
- Prepare and respond to quality audits from outside.
- Prepare weekly reports on quality status both in-house and customer complaint.

Qualifications
- Graduated from college or higher.
- Priority is given to candidates with experience working in the QA/QC department or having worked in a production environment.
- Have at least 1 year of experience and have managed a QC team of about 10-15 people.
- Problem solving skills, conflict management, logical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Teamwork skills.

- Check and execute under the statistical process applying to each type of products when manufacturing.
- Ensure the sufficiency and accuracy on report.
- Check visual all of the label, PO #, SO # and technical detects on the products and advise Supervisor, Team Leader, Operators, limit the detects and improve the production process
- Recording inspection results by completing reports at the end of shift, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting
data into quality database
- Accepting or rejecting finished items, refer SOP/Tolerance/Approved Card
- Reject and record all products and materials that fail to meet specifications by NCR or CAR

- Support QC Team leaders verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly and keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements

Incoming Raw Potato Quality Control
Responsibilities
Incoming Raw Material Quality Control
- Inspect the quality of incoming potato raw materials against the technical standards and procedures issued by the company.
- Check the condition of the raw material transport vehicles according to company standards and regulations, providing feedback to relevant partners for adjustments if necessary.
- Inspect the quality of incoming shipments from suppliers according to company procedures, reporting promptly to the direct supervisor and department manager.
- Provide feedback on potato quality at the time of receipt to the Agronomic Development - Agro department to find solutions for improving the quality of potatoes supplied to the factory.
- Take representative samples for each batch, analyze them, and compare the results with the technical specifications (specs). Report the inspection results to the warehouse, QC department, and Production department before transferring the materials to production.
Equipment Calibration
- Organize the periodic inspection and calibration of equipment used for raw material checks (scales, solid content meters, moisture meters, CO2 concentration meters, temperature gauges, etc.) to ensure their accuracy. Maintain calibration records.
Raw Material Receiving Records
- Maintain records of incoming raw materials: enter results into the computer, store records, and retain raw material samples.
Storage Quality Checks
- Periodically check the quality of stored potatoes and report to the direct supervisor to create a proper storage and production plan.
Lab Management
- Ensure all equipment in the Agronomic Lab is always neat and clean, complying with AIB, 5S, and environmental and health safety requirements during work.
Qualifications
Education:
- A college degree or higher.
- Preferred Background: Candidates who have a college or university degree in fields such as Agriculture and Forestry, Agricultural Development, Food Technology, or Biotechnology. Alternatively, candidates with more than one year of experience in Quality Control are also preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate should be careful, diligent, honest, and have a high level of compliance.
- Work Schedule: The ability to work in shifts (8-hour shifts).
