This role typically reports to QA Manager and is open to working with our suppliers in and around **Hanoi** region.
**SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT**
+ Make sure KPIs of the Observed Quality Level (OQL) are maintained below given targets, with stability to meet the defined Accepted Quality Level (AQL).
+ Monitor the effectiveness of the supplier's Quality Management System (QMS) and provide insights for necessary development areas
+ Follow up CAPs for necessary improvement areas of quality, product safety, process management, and general.
+ Monitor the workload of assigned factories
**MONITOR CERTIFIED AUDITORS (CA) and CA PROGRAMS**
+ Monitor CA's quantity and quality of the work.
+ Provide timely training/ coaching, guidance to Carter's standards and ongoing updates.
**PRE-PRODUCTION MEETING (PPM)**
+ Monitor factory production schedule to make sure PPM is carried out for all necessary styles based on risk assessment.
+ Make sure all product safety concerns/ elements are addressed to meet standards at the pre-production level to secure bulk production and its consistency.
**FINAL (AQL) SHIPMENT PRODUCT AUDITS AND CORRELATION AUDITS**
+ Confirm factory audit scheduling and carry out Correlation audits
+ Complete both product construction audits and packaging audits, combined PO/line audits.
+ Follow up all rechecks for failed audits.
**CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES**
+ Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, such as: CSR & Traceability, Manufacturing Excellence, Product Safety & Compliance, and Sourcing/ Merchandising team.
+ Hand-select bulk garments in the factory for any special purpose as identified by CGS Management.
+ Report important observations or changes regarding management, customer base, equipment investments, capacity expansion, etc.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Worked in Quality Function for over 10 years in Vietnam.
