The primary role of the Principal Compliance Specialist is to support management in the risk mitigation planning including channel partners in the areas of sales and distribution, providing an independent validation of the activities performed and having an oversight on all the GRC processes impacting the region. This will be accomplished through the development, implementation and execution of an effective and robust compliance program. The job requires frequent interaction with senior executives of the region. This position will be in Ho Chi Minh and has responsibility for Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos (subject to changes). The position will report directly to the Southeast Asia Compliance Officer.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Develops, implements, administers and certifies compliance policies, procedures, and practices
+ Ensures alignments with ethics and compliance standards of the organization
+ Provides high quality compliance advice and services on the company's compliance obligations and risks
+ Support with audits, reviews or investigations
+ Reviews submissions of business interactions with HCPs/HCOs and sales/marking activities, conducts prior approvals and daily consultation to support OUs business operation
+ Mitigate channel partners compliance risks through the implementation of adequate screening procedures, on-site assessments, enhanced training and awareness and prompt remediation of compliance gaps.
+ Develops, implements and delivers training of compliance policies and procedures including follow-through on training records and communications with employees and channel partners on training requirements
+ Provides compliance related updates, presentations, analyzes metrics and/or reports relevant to Compliance work and sets KPIs for improvement in responsible markets
+ Liaising with local industry association related to company on compliance and Code of Practice relevant issues
+ Works closely with Asia and Global Office of Ethics & Compliance teams to ensure that best practice in compliance which is consistent with international requirements are identified and implemented
+ Provide assistance to and being engaged in the Asia Ethics & Compliance projects and/or global projects leading by Asia regional representatives
+ Manages the compliance program on the ground in Vietnam and responsibility over Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos (subject to changes)
+ Supports Compliance relevant knowledge transfer across countries in Asia
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Requires Bachelor's degree in related discipline wit minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with team members, internal/external stakeholders and offshore counterparts
+ Solution orientated with a "can do" attitude and proactive, bias for action nature
+ Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions.
+ Demonstrates initiative and innovation to generate ideas and solutions in different situations.
+ Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and oral)
