The Sales Representative I will participate in face-to- face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. We seek a results-oriented professional who, with guidance, will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids, presentations and proposals and participating in product demonstrations.
+ Help identify and contact prospective customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
+ With basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
+ Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
+ Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff.
+ Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor in Animal Science or Animal Husbandry
+ At least 3-year experience in relevant field

- ZIM LOGISTICS VIETNAM (ZLV) is a subsidiary of ZIM Lines. ZLV performs full Freight Forwarding services, including Sea-freight, & Air freight, customs procedures, logistics services, project cargo, cross-border trucking, warehousing and E-Commerce full scale operations, custom brokerage, and fulfillment logistics.
- The responsibility of an Air freight sales rep. is to make sure all goods for delivery are in proper order.
The Air freight sales rep. oversees the delivery of the freights, to their temporary loading (in this case, an airplane), up until they get to the end user or receiver.

- Main Purpose of the Role
- An Air freight sales rep. deals with the shipment of their company’s goods from the supplier until it reaches its end point, the receiver.

- Prepare quotation, sales contract, and other supporting documents.

- The Airfreight sales rep. makes sure that he/she is informed in case of any delays, so that he can contact both sender and receiver.
- The Airfreight sales rep. works hand in hand with other departments to know of any scheduling changes, freight space shortages, and even customer requests.
- An air freight sales rep. counts all freight and goods manually, keeps track of it and stores it in a database. They make sure that all freight is weighed and measured and that they are complying with the airline's standards. In the case of overnight storage, the air freight managers also seek to get a place they trust, and that loading and unloading of freight and cargo are done accordingly by experts. They also find the best possible rates and airlines to use to forward freight.
- Air freight sales rep. continuously try to improve the freight charges by doing research on all existing airlines and prices.
