RESPONSIBILITIES
The Automation QA Engineer will be in charge of the Quality Assurance of Web-based/Windows Desktop applications, SAP ERP and work directly with our stakeholders in the US to provide support for Simpson Strong-Tie’s application development.
- Develop/Build or Maintain the automation test framework or framework components in order to reduce test cycles and overall time to market. li>Assist with integrating test automation with the continuous integration build environment.
- Own automation test script development and execution, data sourcing/data provisioning, and defect analysis, and ensure that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.
- Develop/update or Maintain the Performance Test for Multi-Clients & Servers to ensure the system is stable & smooth. li>In charge of the implementation of new technologies and providing recommendations and informing stakeholders about potential threats.
- Support Testing of the web/desktop applications developed by the Simpson IT development team. li>Be responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance thru the full project lifecycle (from Blueprinting through Implementation)
- Create software QA test automation plans and contribute to developing and maintaining a repository of regression automation test cases.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test cases and test scripts.
- Perform Daily / Weekly / On-demand reports to QC leader/Manager on the progress and status of the assigned tasks.
- Review/ analyze the software requirements then develop the manual test cases before starting to develop the automation scripts.
