The Business Development Manager leads the organization's business development strategies by maintaining good partnerships with the current clients and seeking new business partners and updating market conditions to achieve the best sales results.
You also work with regional teams to understand the latest business trends/ business needs.
You can manage difficult problems in a challenging business market.
Set up sales targets to achieve quarterly/yearly
Carry out Sales forecasts and analysis, and report your findings to the General Manager to increase sales of the business
Develop the business sales strategy
Negotiate pricing with clients in the area of delegation from the General Manager
Research and identify business opportunities, including new markets in the South of Viet Nam, trends, clients, partnerships, products, or new ways of reaching existing markets
Maintain & develop partnership with clients in the South area to increase business sales
Promote new products, new trends to the clients to get new wins
Have a good understanding of business products and be able to advise clients about them
Understand the needs of clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs
Foster and develop relationships with clients so that you can generate repeat business as well as find new opportunities
Think strategically to see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives to develop and improve the business and reach new clients
Work strategically to carry out necessary planning to implement operational changes
Propose and discuss with the General Manager the sales strategy for the South area
Plan for Sales income of the quarter/the year
Plan a budget for sales expenses for a year
Other tasks assigned from time to time by the General Manager

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
This is a very exciting role in dynamic & forward thinking. The Sales Intern is to support
both B2B and B2C sales activities and assist the Business Development Manager and
senior staff by performing administrative and entry-level duties while gaining experience
in the Travel/Tourism Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development:
● Conduct small-scale market researches to identify potential segments
● Search, find and connect to decision makers or contact points in targeted
clients/business partners
● Organize and clean up weekly or monthly lead database
● Attend occasional client meetings (offline or online) and provide meeting notes
afterward
● Make partially sales kit or pitch proposal
● Update sales records/reports
Intern's Duties:
● Research and update industry news to identify opportunities/clients
● Set up meetings and prepare materials for department organized events.
● Support proposal and contract preparations as required.
● Do other admin tasks when required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Previous sales internship (or experience) preferred but not required.
Qualification: Currently pursuing a 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree or postgraduate
degree.
