The role serves as a strategic support to the Group Head of Sales, a member of the Ninja Van leadership team. The role will work closely with the regional leadership teams, commercial teams and in-country teams across the SEA region to define strategy, follow through on execution of selected regional and/or country initiatives and coordination of sales projects to deliver desired results in sales, margin and market share goals.
**Responsibility**:
- Support the Head of Sales with day to day management activities of sales admin, performance management, reviews and stakeholder management.
- Contribute towards the success of the department objectives through involvement, ownership and project management.
- Support in strategy development of essential Business Tools (Business Analytics, Business Intelligent, CRM, eDetailing and etc.) adoption and ROI to identify improvement area to onboard new tools in order to enhance business understanding and optimize the productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, oversee and track strategic projects and initiatives as and when required.
- Identify and coordinate new business programs and projects including due diligence analysis where required.
- Support selected countries in their sales strategy planning and execution plans including checklist & trackers, business reviews, action plans.
- Act as a strategic “think tank” for key business initiatives and issues.
- Continuous review of existing strategic sales priorities’ effectiveness and take ownership to drive improvement areas.
- Follow through on country/ regional sales initiatives, actions and agreed activities in a structured and timely manner.
- Prepare communication/business decks for periodic management and board updates.
- Utilize data and market intelligence to develop market and market share forecasts; track and report actuals, explaining variances versus forecast.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in consulting/strategy experience preferred
- Exposure to sales management functions and/or logistics/transportation sector is preferred.
- Outstanding strategic planning and analytical skills — proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, conduct analysis, formulate actionable recommendations and recommend a point-of-view to senior management
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recall
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, the sales force and internal customers.
- High-energy, self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, demonstrates good executive presence, and can deliver in meeting deadlines and objectives
