Daily make stock analysis to find out item having problem with OOS, Over Stock, minus stock

Send report to relevant party for corrective action

Follow up until the issue is fixed

  1. Inventory (20%)

Conduct yearly inventory and partial inventory to ensure physical goods is the same with sales stock on the system

Control shrinkage at Stores

  1. Stock management (15%)

Monthly evaluate Supplier's delivery performance (OTIF rate)

Meeting and Join business plan with main suppliers to increase stock availability

  1. SKU management (15%)

Monthly review SKU with slow moving or No sale

Work with MD to have action plan (return, clearance…)

Work with MD to decide SKU cut/plus

Evaluate stock effectiveness via some certain KPI: Stock day, using SKU….

  1. Team management (10%)

Assign staff in daily work to ensure Team target achievement

Recruit, coach and train staff to be a competent team

  1. Reporting (10%)

Reporting to the immediate manager all relating issues in the job in charge daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

Doing other reports as requested the immediate Manager and/ or Functional Team leader.

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee and optimize logistics and warehousing operations in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, VN . This role offers a hybrid work model, combining essential on-site oversight with the flexibility for strategic planning and analysis from home. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with proven experience in improving operational performance and implementing best practices. You will lead a team of logistics and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) is essential. This position requires excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You will work closely with production, sales, and finance departments to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics and warehousing strategies.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and productivity.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Implement and improve warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, optimize routes, and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS and TMS software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
