Warehouse Specialist oversees daily operations in warehouse from materials receiving, storage, internal materials and finished goods transfers and finished goods shipments. Responsible for 5S, continuous improvement within warehouse.
- Coordinate with warehouse keepers to process receiving, storing materials, finished goods loading to ensure safety regulations is followed, materials are stored right locations
- Ensure materials in warehouse enough requirement labels, stored properly, well organized
- Check and ensure materials delivered follow First Expire First Out
- Observe, identify and evaluate risks in processes, propose for improvements
- Perform full warehouse inventory weekly cycle counts, ensure physical and system is matching
- Assist supervisor in resolving discrepancies between production and warehouse, investigate and study preventive solutions
- Identifying hazards, evaluating, and reporting risks in all warehouse operations to improve safety, health conditions
- Ensure warehouse safety by escalating safety concerns and reporting near misses, injuries
- Check to ensure daily operations tasks such daily checklist for each warehouse, storage condition check, 5Sare performed properly and consistently
- Participate in the planning and implementation of warehouse layout and design to optimize the space
- Back up for warehouse supervisor and other tasks are delegated by supervisor and manager
- Assist the training for new warehouse keeper
