US Vietnam Talent International School (UTS) is looking for Teaching Assistant who is responsible for supporting the teacher in presenting lessons and helping students learn.

A. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Teacher and student support
- Supervise and provide learning support for students;
- Keep students on task;
- Encourage students to interact with the class and engage in activities;
- Document students’ achievement, progress, and any problems that arise and provide feedback to teachers/Assistant Manager;
- Collaborate with teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions;
- Ensure the classroom environment is safe and clean;
- Assist teachers with demonstrating class activities and translating in class for students when needed;
- Work with smaller groups of students for remedial teaching or reinforcing the learning process;
- Translate or interpret to support students, teachers, and parents.

2. Administrative tasks
- Help with school events, trips, and activities;
- Liaise with other departments in school-wide activities;
- Translate documents, announcements, and guidelines;
3. Administration and School Policy
- Attend team/department/school meetings to get updates on codes, regulations, and policy;
- Understand and comply with staff and department handbooks as well as policy and guidance documents;
- Any other reasonable task assigned by the Manager/Mentor Teacher/Teacher.

B. JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualifications/Training
- Bachelor’s degree with a background in teaching or education;
- English proficiency of B2 at the minimum.

2. Experience
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant;
- Has the personality to work with and support children who have certain learning difficulties;
- Familiarity with school administrative tasks and learning methods.

3. Specific knowledge/Skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Compassionate and positive attitude;
- Ability to build a trusting relationship with students and teachers;
- Good interpersonal skills and high team-working spirit;
- Ability to work under high pressure;
- Clear demonstration of being innovative, self-disciplined, and result-oriented;
- Superior Microsoft Office mastery (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Proven experience with educational technologies and learning management systems (LMS) is a must. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills are critical. Knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) is highly desirable.
