**Your key responsibilities**:

- Participate in strategy, restructuring advisory and commercial due diligence projects;
- Carry out deep dive analysis of financial statement, business performance, business plan, financial projection/model, and other materials related to strategy projects;
- Prepare proposal, preliminary research for pitching deck, teaser, information memorandum;
- Perform market research and other particular research on target company and related industry;
- Build, review and validate financial projection and business plan upon certain strategy projects;
- Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings;
- Interact with clients, potential investors and other key stakeholders.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**:

- **Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with business-related majors (finance, accounting, economics, business administration, computer science, business intelligence) from reputable universities outside of Vietnam, preferred from the US, UK, Australia, and other English speaking countries; or from top universities in Vietnam**

**- Work experience: Having 1- 2 years in management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, audit or any similar field at Big 4 and/or multinational companies, international organizations, big domestic corporations.**
- **MBA degree and professional qualifications such as CMA, CFA, ACCA, CPA Australia would be key advantages**:

- **Logical, analytical and problem solving skills. Fast learner, team work.**:

**Senior Consultant | Insurance Consulting**

We are in a strong position to build on our existing client base in the insurance industry. These projects are demanding an increased level of classic consulting skills - more intensive client interaction.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Assist in the technical delivery and reporting for projects, taking ownership of at least one major workstream;
- Assist in the dialogue with client contacts and help to manage expectations of delivery, content, timescales, and cost;
- Present or assist senior management in presenting to clients at senior executive and board levels;
- Play your part in the development of the intellectual property to support sales-oriented client interaction;
- Assist in responding to client proposals;
- Develop people through effective coaching and mentoring more junior staff; and
- Play a role in team administration tasks - such as feedback, counseling, finance, recruitment, learning, etc.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**:

- At least three years of experience in life insurance, actuarial, valuation, M&A from working either in an insurer or in a consultancy firm;
- Proven math and analytical skills, as commonly acquired through the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related fields;
- A committed approach to continuous professional development is required;
- A strong command of the English language is essential;
- IFRS 17 knowledge will be considered an added advantage;

**Essence of the role**
- Lead work streams or specific tasks of risk consulting services, formulate high-quality, insightful and sustainable solutions for clients
- Ensure work efficiency during all engagements by continuously improving processes, utilizing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Be responsible for parts of the final deliverables for clients
- Contribute to the preparation and facilitation of workshops, presentations and training at client premises and within the team

**Requirement**
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university

- Good knowledge on Business operating model, Value chain, Business processes, Internal Control, Internal Audit
- At least 3 years of experience in consulting practice with direct project experience in one or more of the following areas: risk management, internal control, internal audit, OR At least 3 years of experience in an industry of an internal audit/internal control/compliance environment with a reputable organization and a strong record of personal success

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. The incumbent will be part of VCA Data Science geographic team cluster of Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia (IPVMC) markets, and will be responsible for Data Science backed consulting engagements with Visa's clients in Vietnam. What a Sr Data Scientist does at Visa:
The Sr Data Scientist is a key member of the Visa Analytics and Consulting (VCA) team. As a Sr Data Scientist for Vietnam, you will be supporting the design, development and implementation of analytics driven strategies and solutions for key Visa clients. You will collaborate with our VCA, Business, and Technology teams across the organization to implement solutions to drive business performance.

In this role, you are expected to:

- Define detailed scope and methodology, creating and executing on the framework with appropriate data mining techniques
- Support and deliver analytics projects from conception to completion with actionable insights and recommendations
- Clearly communicate the findings and recommendations, drive deployment and implementation of analytics solutions, and track business value impact
- Research industry metrics and business context and bring this context to bear in analyses
- Actively seek out opportunities to innovate by using non-traditional data and new modeling techniques fit for purpose to the needs of our clients
- Ensure all project documentation is up to date and maintain the highest levels of quality in deliverables
- Perform as an independent contributor mostly, with high engagement with consultants and other data science team members to deliver projects
- Enhance existing analytic techniques by promoting new methodology and best practices in analytics field
- High interaction with external clients, and manage internal and external stakeholders
- On a per-project basis, work on client site as required

This role reports to the Head of Data Science for the Vietnam Country team and this position will be based in our Ho Chi Minh City Visa office.

- Hands on experience with one or more data analytics/programming tools such as SAS/Salford SPM/Hadoop/R/SQL/Python/Hive, and a working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
- Proficiency in some of the following statistical techniques: Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting, Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Markov Chains, Support Vector Machines, Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Factor analysis, etc
- Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple analytic projects with diverse cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to innovate solutions to solve business problems
- Strong internal team and external client stakeholder management with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style; able to work effectively in a matrixed organization
